Great place

I was vacationing on Maui and the first day I ended up scratching my cornea....after searching for the urgent care I found this place instead. I had no appointment but the staff took me anyway. I waited a short period of time and was seen by Christopher Apostolides who treated me and sent me on my way. All of the staff was friendly and helpful including the front desk. My wife broke her toe one day later so I took her here also. I made an appointment this time and even though it was busy in the office the wait was still not long.Christopher Apostolides now treated my wife's toe and sent us over to get the xrays in the same building. Both times the visits were great and we received prompt and courteous service. They don't take united healthcare (my wife's ins co.) but they gave us the paperwork to send in for compensation.

ON MARCH 25,2009 MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO THE CLINIC TO SEE A DOCTOR, WE MUST SAY THAT AMANDA AT THE FRONT DESK WAS THE MOST RUDEST WOMAN WE HAVE EVER MET. SHE DID NOT HAVE A CARING BONE IN HER BODY. AS SOON AS SHE KNEW WE WERE FROM CANADA SHE WAS IGNORANT. THE LAST THING WE WANTED ON OUR VACATION WAS TO SEE A DOCTOR, BUT HER ATTITUDE WITH IT WAS THE TOPPING. I (SHERRI) EVEN COMMENTED TO HER THAT SHE WAS A VERY RUDE WOMAN AND HER RESPONSE WAS A THANK YOU. WE LEFT THERE AND WENT TO URGENT CARE MAUI,FAMILY PRACTISE 1325 SO.KEHEI RD. THERE WE TREATED LIKE HUMAN BEINGS. SHERRI & CHRIS, NOVA SCOTIA,CANADA

Aloha, I have been going to KWMC for 10 years, I enjoy the Staff Maile makes me laugh all the time. Amanda and Regina are great at the front desk. I have seen all the doctors, I enjoy them. I highly recommend Christopher the PA for an injury. My cousin stepped on Lava and cut her foot and he was great. shoots
Great Medical - Bad Billing

Last August my daughter fell off her mountain bike while we were on vacation. Paramedics recommended the doc at this clinic so we drove over. Doc and nurse were FANTASTIC people. HOWEVER! the front staff was either too busy to handle the stress or just annoyed in general. Billing also is a huge nightmare - this is July, almost a year after the fact, and I am still fighting between the insurance company and their billing department (which isnt the same location). They are slow as molasses! Highly recommend the medical staff and highly discourage Blue Cross insurance claims. Pay cash and forget about the insurance company!
